Taki the Toucan is an adorable tropical bird amigurumi pattern that is quick and easy to work up. It is a low-sew pattern, with the head, body, tail, and legs all crocheted together with no-sew methods. The only sewing required is to attach the beak to the head. This stuffed animal toy can stand on its own, and would make a great keychain, last-minute birthday gift or Christmas holiday present. Since it’s a fast and easy pattern, it’s also suitable for stocking up as a product for craft fairs and markets! The PDF pattern includes some progress photos to help guide you through the crochet doll making process.

Super bulky weight 6 yarn in grey, orange, yellow, and blue (I used Hobbii Toucan Yarn)
5mm crochet hook
10mm plastic safety eyes (x2)
Yarn needle
Stuffing
Scissors

★★☆☆☆ Familiar Beginner. Requires familiarity with stitches used (below), attaching yarn, and changing yarn colors.

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)
dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)
