Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.

A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The Tee of Dreams is a lovely loose, cropped boxy tee design, with a V front and back, and a little bit of detailing along the center front and back of the tee. It is knit in two rectangle panels with provisional cast on/bind off and i-cord edging. The panels are seamed together along the front/back/sides at the height you want to create a deep or shallow V. All the cast on and bind off stitches are picked up again and a ribbed hem is knit in the round. It is a size inclusive design, written in a format where you will be able to customize your tee to fit your desired measurements.

Sizes offered:
This pattern is designed in a format so that you can customize the measurements to fit your desired size/shape. I have included formulas for calculating the width and length of the panels based on your desired fit/measurements.

Needles required:
4 mm / US 6
May need other size needles to meet gauge
I recommend using a set of interchangeable needles, or a pair of circulars that match the circumference of the hem of the tee.

Gauge:
23 sts x 34 rows = 4 inches x 4 inches (stockinette, worked flat, blocked)

Yarn required:
Any fingering weight yarn to match gauge
I used indie dyed yarn from Explorer Knits in the colourway Court of Dreams. Any standard fingering should do, though I do recommend a plied yarn rather than a single ply as this is a looser knit tee and I find plied yarns hold up better and show the stitch definition of the detailing better. Also less pilling!

Yardage required:
Since this is a create your own sizing format, I don’t have a specific estimate of yardage for each size. The range would be 1-4 skeins of approx. 400yds/100g fingering weight yarn depending on your bust size and desired length. Testers used a range of 585-1515 yards.

I used about 1.5 skeins (about 600 yards) for my sample. I have a 35” bust and my tee has about 6” of positive ease.
