This Teeny Flamingo has cocktail stick legs and makes a fun reusable cupcake topper. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the flamingo is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, a little toy filling, beads for eyes, and cocktail sticks for legs.

SIZES
One size only - 7cm tall (not including the stick legs).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
