This Hat and Cowl Set, made with worsted wool, takes a classic color combination and using traditional Nordic designs make them into a warm and contemporary set. The Cowl is shaped at the bottom, shorter at the back of the neck and longer in the front to provide a little more coverage where it meets the chest, but not in the back to cut back on uncomfortable bulk.

Pieces are knit in the round, with stranded colorwork but never more than 2 colors in a round. Hat tassel is optional.
Three hat sizes (child, adult, large adult) and
Two cowl sizes (small, for a tighter fit, large, for a looser fit)

GAUGE: 20 sts x 24 rows = 4 ins in charted pattern.
FINISHED SIZE: Hat: 7.5, (8.5, 9.5) inches tall.
