This is a PATTERN for crochet only, designed to help you make your very own Telluride “Telly” the Yeti.

All patterns are written in English, in US terms, using Craft Yarn Council abbreviations.

Love the winter wonderland? So does Telly! His soft, fluffy Hygge fur keeps him warm, and makes for a great hug. Telly is the perfect size for a child’s snuggles. He’s the perfect monster who isn’t at all scary. Like an abominable teddy bear.

Telluride “Telly” the Yeti Premium Pattern 2.0 is designed to be easy to read. Whether you are a confident beginner or an expert plushy artist, this pattern comes equipped with everything you need to succeed. When you are finished with your project you will have learned new and useful skills for your art form and created a beautiful piece to cherish.

You Need to Know: Chains (ch), single crochet (sc), Right side (RS), Wrong side (WS), Back loops only (BLO), increases and decreases, mattress stitch sewing. Be eager to learn and ready to have fun!

You Will Practice Intermediate Techniques:
How to use pins to perfectly place and attach amigurumi parts
How to shape using increases and decreases
How to shape amigurumi parts using short rounds
How to branch and merge amigurumi parts (no sew amigurumi technique)

Red Heart Hygge bulky yarn, 70% acrylic, 30% nylon, 132 yds / 5 oz / 141 g, Snow (SNO), 1 ball.
Red Heart With Love yarn, 100% acrylic, worsted weight, 370 yds/7 oz/198 g, Dusty Grape (GRP), 1 ball; Light Grey (GRY), < 1 ball; Aubergine (AUB), < 1 ball.
G (4.00 mm) hook
Two 18mm colored round-pupil safety eyes
Polyfil stuffing
Tapestry needle
Straight pins
Stitch markers

Measurements
10” tall x 11” wide

Gauge
8 sts x 8 rows in sc = 2” x 2” in worsted weight yarn
