Tangled lines of twisted stitches spool outward, framed by rippling waves of garter stitch. The emphasis on texture and movement make this shawl perfect for both solid and gradient yarns.
This triangular shawl is worked from the top down, beginning with a garter stitch tab, and grows four stitches every right side row until it reaches the bottom edge. It combines twisted-stitch cables with panels of garter stitch. When blocking, the bottom edge of the shawl can be gently scalloped by stretching the cabled sections further than the garter stitch areas.
Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished shawl.
