The Kindur Hat
Many Thanks to Raveler Suemccord for helping test knit this hat!!!
Iceland is a place of raw beauty. Flat and mountainous, fields of sheep, beaches of black sand, volcanoes, waterfalls and rock formations. It’s like nowhere else I have ever seen. The mountains are not covered in green and trees, but are jagged and dark.
Volcanos, shrinking glaciers & geysers, it’s a stark, beautiful land. The sheep are beautiful with large curved horns. KINDUR (KIN-dush) is the Icelandic word for sheep. These knit sheep are stylized versions of the sheep and the jagged landscape shows above them.
Malabrigo Rios in Glitter & Cosmos used for hat in photos. Two versions of sheep available, thick leg or skinny leg. Thick leg shown in model photos. Instructions for 4 sizes.
