The Midnight Sun Scarf
The Midnight Sun Scarf
The scarf is new beginner friendly and has some fun, repetitive stitches. The pattern consists of 4 parts; Set up, increase, decrease and closing. You can choose between two borders; with or without picots.
The pattern works up as a 4 row repeat. You start at one end and make increases in every second round of the scarf. When you are satisfied with the length of half of the scarf, you start decreasing in the same place you made the increase. The shell border is made as you go.
My testers said it worked up quickly and was really fun to make, perfect for gifts!

You can make the Midnight Sun Scarf in any kind of yarn you like (cotton, acrylic, merino, alpaca, linen). You need approx. 350 m - 425m (fingering). I recommend using a 0.5 mm – 1.0 mm larger hook than normal to get a nice drape.
The pattern is available in US terms, Swedish and in Norwegian. It has a hand written chart, close up photos and a clear pattern.
