Modeled after a 1915 design, I have expanded this pattern to fit any size, using any weight yarn. You will measure your body dimensions and crochet the sweater to fit.

The majority of the sweater is worked using hdc through back-loop-only stitches, with sc through back-loop-only for the girdle. The sleeve length and width (as with all other dimensions) are made to your desired size. I added a touch of Star Stitch on the final row of the collar, but otherwise the stitches are basically rows of hdc or sc.
