The hat is being crocheted bottom up. First, the ribbing is being made. The ribbing is being crocheted with a 5.0 mm crochet hook. Afterward, the ribbing is joined to a circle and the rest of the hat is being made. The rest of the hat is made with a 6 mm crochet hook.
