Tiira (Sterna hirundo) is one of my favorite birds. Those graceful light colored birds are beauties of nature. They can glide following the stream lines of the air and suddenly they dive and catch a fish.

This tiny shawl is worked from center to sides shaping with short rows. Garter stitches makes it feel soft and
flexible.

Yarn: NOVITA Nalle (DK, 75% Wool, 25% Polyamide, 100g = 284 yards (260m)) OR any other DK weight yarn to fit the gauge. Color A: White 60g, Color B: Yellow 10g and Color C: Light Gray 70g.

Needles: US 4 / 3.5mm circular needle 24 – 40 inches (60cm – 100cm).

Gauge: 19 sts x 42 rows = 4 inches (10cm).

Size: 47¼ inches (120cm) wide and 13¾ inches (35cm) long.
