Ever wanted to learn how to work overlay mosaic crochet centre out? Well, this pattern will give you some technical information, plus a free pattern for you to practice with and use in other projects.
The little squares are only seven rounds, but you’ll learn all the centre-out basics, plus tips and tricks.
Sew them together to make a bag or mat - they are very flexible!

Centre Out Overlay Mosaic Crochet Techniques
The square can be made in any yarn and hook and uses small amounts of yarn. Great as a stash buster.
Using DK weight yarn and a 3.50 mm hook, each square measured, approximately, 3” x 3” (7.5cms x 7.5cms).
The design is not symmetrical, so it could create some interesting patterns. I have added some examples of different arrangements and colours.
