Töfrar, which is the Icelandic word for magic, is a cozy oversize cardigan.
The cardigan is reversible and you can were it inside out if you prefer.

It is knitted using two strands of unspun Icelandic wool held together. You play with the different colors and go from one color to another in an irregular manner and each sweater will be unique. The method used to change colour and also to avoid having to weave in the ends is called spit splicing. Simply break the yarn, take a strand of the next color and your working yarn between your hands, and rub them together to blend them.

The body is worked flat from lower edge to underarms, but the sleeves are worked in the round from lower edge to underarms, then joined to work flat. The upper body, sleeves and V-neckline are shaped with raglan decreases. The neck band is worked last in ribbing, starting at the bottom of the right front and ending at the bottom of the left front. In the end, a loop stitch is sewn along the neckband, both inside and out to get a beautiful finish where the stitches were picked up.
