Inspired by my upcoming trip to Iceland and the need for a warm hat I designed this hat simple hat using Icelandic Wool and a classic Fair Isle Motif.

You just need one ball of your Main Colour and one of your Contrast Colour. You should get more than one hat out this amount.

I chose to knit the hat on 6.5mm and the colourwork on 7mm, you may not feel you need to do this but I find my colourwork can be a bit tight and on a hat its always better to be a bit looser.
