Enjoy a beautiful landscape created by your favorite variegated yarn or show off a semi-solid in this fashionable sweater.
Despite its simple lines and clean look, the pattern features many small details to achieve a perfectly tailored fit: curved bottom edges, scoop neckline and button-tab sleeve details. These small details combined with the contemporary feel of this design will be complimentary to all body types.
Sizes:
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL).
The body sweater is designed to be loose fitting. This sample is shown in size M on a 35” bust. The sleeves, on the other hand, are designed to be tight fitting.
Finished Measurements:
Body circumference: 37½ (41½, 45½, 49½, 53½, 57½, 61½) inches; 94 (104, 114, 124, 134, 144, 154) cm.
Mid-arm circumference: 8¾ (9¼, 9½, 11¼, 12¾, 14½, 16) inches; 22 (23, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40) cm.
Sleeve length from mid-arm to cuff: 7½ inches; 18½ cm.
Length from Underarm to bottom: 16½ (16½, 17, 17, 17½, 17½, 18) inches; 41 (41, 42 ½, 42 ½, 44, 44, 45) cm.
Materials:
Yarn: Skein Merino Silk Sport (50% silk/50% merino - 363 yd /100g), or any other light sport weight yarn that knits to the gauge: 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins. You will need approx. 1010 (1050, 1085, 1200, 1350, 1550, 1750) yards.
Needles:
US 4 (3.5mm) straight or circular needles for the body (directions for seamless and seamed versions are provided).
US 4 (3.5mm) and US 2½ (3mm) circular needles for the neckband and sleeves (needed for both versions).
Other Notions:
Stitch holders, tapestry needle, an extra needle for 3-needle-bind off.
5 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6) small buttons, about 8mm wide.
Gauge:
23.5 st and 30 rows to 4 inches; 10 cm on US 4 (3.5mm) needles, in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
