Transitions - Traveling Earth Scarf January 2023
Shobha of Serendipitous Wool invited me to be a part of a big collaboration: a Traveling Scarf where 12 designers will each work a section of the scarf, each released on the second Friday of the month, beginning with my part for January. The theme for this mystery crochet scarf is Traveling Earth.
For January, I was inspired by the idea of Transitions. In January, the days are growing longer and we are inspired to learn new things or change up our typical routine. As time goes, we find ourselves naturally gravitating one way or another. My design tries to represent this with the flow of colors. <3 My design includes some notes and photos to help with hiding your yarn to make it double sided!
Shobha worked up gorgeous mini skeins of her Mata Worsted yarn in coordinating colors for the entire year! The next part will be available in the other individual designer’s stores. To follow along, follow the tag #TEScarf2023 on Instagram.
