2 Shawls in one pattern!

1st version is in 2 colors. 2nd version is in one color with beaded detail in the main body of shawl and border.

Shawls combine a variation of the trellis motif with a border in a variation of the spider motif. Gauge is not critical. However, please note that the large hook size is intentional. Victorian crochet lace is often accomplished using a disproportionately large hook. Maintaining the stitch size dictated by the hook is crucial to the effect of the finished product.

This pattern is suitable for Victorian and Civil War re-enactors.
