Tribeca Wrap
Featured at Vogue Knitting Live in NYC 2023 for the La Bien Aimée Fashion show, Louis brings you his latest wrap “The Tribeca Wrap” (in collaboration with the Parisian Yarn company, La Bien Aimée). Designed with La Bien Aimée Helix (double stranded creating a sport weight), the Tribeca Wrap was inspired by one of Louis’ favorite neighborhoods in NYC, Tribeca. Known for its industrial like buildings (many of which were converted into residential buildings for artists in the early 1970’s), Tribeca has been the heartbeat of many artists throughout NYC. He wanted to create a wrap that gave the resemblance of its buildings and neighborhood parks when using the slipped stitch square patterns and the quilted diamond pattern that runs throughout the wrap. Get ready to be swept away into the streets of Tribeca as you knit this wrap.
Choosing 3 different colors in La Bien Aimee “Helix” (double stranded to create a sport weight); 4 skeins in main color, 1 skein each in two different contrasting colors (totaling 6 skeins for this project); 650m / 710 yd each skein, 75% Falkland Merino / 25% Gotland Wool), or any sport weight yarn that totals 1400 yds in main color and 350 yds each in two different contrasting colors.
