ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Tuscany Socks is a exquisite cable pattern that is surprisingly easy to knit and memorize, worked toe-up, with gusset and slipped stitch heel for better fitting. Instructions are written for magic loop method, the cable instructions are charted and written for your convenience.
NEEDLES
2.50mm (US 1½) circular needle with cable long enough for magic loop method, or size needed to obtain gauge.
2.75mm (US 2) circular needle with cable long enough for magic loop method, or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
8 sts x 12 rows in 2.5 cm (1”) in stockinette stitch
Central cable is 4 cm (1¾“) wide
Please bear in mind that the cable pattern does not stretch as much as stockinette stitch, so you may wish to consider going up a needle size or two on the gusset and heel section, specially if the wearer has a high instep.
SIZES & YARDAGE
S (M, L) to fit a foot with approx. 16 (18, 20)cm 6¼(7¾, 8)“ of circumference.
275 (300, 340) m / 300 (330, 370) yds of any fingering weight yarn
