Beautiful textured mid length cable wrist warmers/mittens in Lalland lambswool, 2 threads knitted together to give an Aran weight. The pattern is created using travelling cables on the outside, which reflect the organic twisting and turning of the twisted hazel tree which stands just outside my studio. The mittens are knitted flat with a gusset shaping for the thumbs but can easily be knitted in the round on a set of 4 dpns. The palms have a 2 stitch cable repeat which reflect the ropes and rigging of sailing boats, but also give extra grip to the hand when worn. Length 8.5ins/22cms. 2 balls of Lalland Lambswool, any colour. Shown in Agate.
