Uprising is a two-color chevron cowl designed in Malabrigo Rastita for a Design Challenge with Cory of IndieKnits. The pattern is simple to knit, it highlights the yarn and provides a perfect showcase for some special buttons.​

This cowl was made using 1 skein each of two colors of Malabrigo Rastita, but another DK to light worsted yarn could be used. The cowl pictured used approximately 180 yards, but it can be knit to a variety of lengths with additional yardage.

This pattern is written to use four 1 inch buttons, but instructions are given to calculate buttonholes for a different number of buttons.
