Vail/Villa Striped Cowl
A light fingering weight, Vail is 70% baby alpaca and 30% bamboo. The bamboo gives it the most delicate luster and drape, while the alpaca contributes an ethereal softness. Vail’s colorful cousin, Villa, is the same great yarn in bold and beautiful colors.
This double thick cowl is knit back and forth in rows. The cast on and bind off ends are joined to form a loop then the long edges are seamed to create a tube. The intarsia stripes are two different lengths.
