NEW/UPDATED VIOLET THE MERMAID CROCHET PATTERN
This is Violet the Mermaid. She is roughly 15” tall measuring from the top of her head to the bottom of the fin, when using the yarn and hook sizes specific in the pattern.

This 12 page written crochet pattern is in English using UK crochet terminology and includes detailed instructions with photos to guide you through the pattern.

I have included my Crochet Conversion chart as a separate download and also in the pattern, which has both U.K. to U.S crochet sts and the conversion of each st along with the pattern. FOR EXAMPLE: A U.K double crochet converts to a U.S. single crochet.

Level: intermediate - some of the pattern uses crocodile st

Materials needed:
110g Variegated yarn –Lily Sugar n Cream Ombres – Jewels Ombre (comes in 56.7g ball)
50g Beige yarn – Drops Paris Aran Yarn (100% cotton)
2 x 15mm safety eyes,
4mm hook
5mm hook – only for the mermaid tail, fin and body frill
Stitch Marker
Small amount of dark purple for the flower
Small amount of black and white yarn for facial features
Note: You can use black yarn to embroider eyes if you prefer not to use the safety eyes
Stuffing material
Darning needle to sew together
