This pattern is a single release from my 2nd book “Variations using Short Rows”, which is almost out of print.

A cardigan with an element of surprise: The short front piece changes to a noticeably longer back. Whether you wear it on summer evenings or in the winter, this pretty garment “The long and the short of it” will become a trusty companion! It is being worked with short rows in garter stitch and a texture pattern.
The original pattern uses 300g of Opal sock yarn in Variation nach Hundertwassers Werk 637A (color no. 1434), and 600g of Opal sock yarn in unicolor heather (color no. 2119).

Dieses Modell ist eine Auskopplung aus meinem zweiten Buch „Variationen mit verkürzten Reihen“, das mittlerweile fast vergriffen ist.

Eine Jacke mit Überraschungseffekt: Die kurze Vorderpartie geht in eine deutlich längere Rückseite über. Ob an Sommerabenden oder im Winter - das hübsche Stück wird Ihnen stets ein treuer Begleiter sein. Die Jacke wird mit verkürzten Reihen in kraus rechts sowie einem Strukturmuster gestrickt.
Für das Original wurden 300g Opal Sockenwolle in Variation nach Hundertwassers Werk 637A (Farbe 1434) verbraucht, sowie 600g Opal Sockenwolle uni „Erika“ (Farbe 2119).
