When I was in college, there was no better treat than escaping after a long day of books, grabbing a sandwich for a makeshift picnic and heading to Walden Pond with friends to see an amazing sunset. The colors stick in your mind forevermore - and the relative calm, compared to regular college life, was an oasis. This color and pattern are a tribute to those times.

SUPPLIES
200 grams Island Yarn Rivulet, Siam, Pagoda, Noki or FootFoot in Walden Sunset (sample used Rivulet) - MC
30 grams fingering weight contrast color (sample used Gesa and Flo – black) - CC
US 4 (3.5mm) circular needle, 32”- 40”
Stitch markers
Darning needle for weaving in ends

GAUGE
6 sts/inch before blocking, 5.5 sts/inch after blocking
Exact gauge is relatively unimportant for this project, just don’t be so far off that you end up much larger or smaller than intended
