This beautiful textured “faux circle” jacket is designed to look like a circle jacket, but fit in a more flattering way, with slimming vertical stripes. Because it has both petite and regular sizes, you can get the look of a circle jacket without the crazy length (as we all know, it’s challenging to size a circle jacket). The bodice is knit in one piece side to side with shaping. It takes one Superfluity Yarn Kit plus three skeins of Mohair Silk boucle in matching colorway. Jacket shown is knit in “Stone House”. To substitute another yarn you’ll need between 1000 - 1300 yds depending on the size and length.
Check projects to see a version of this jacket in Colinette Giotto…stunning!

Handspinners, this would be beautiful in several different weights of yarn from the same fiber. You could use two ply for the bodice and sleeves, then spin up some art yarns for the surround…a thick and thin, a boucle or corespun, even coils.
Handspinners, please post this as a project to Twisted Friends group: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/twisted-friends
