This is my one foray into the world of designing for activism. You can probably tell my philosophy by the message on these mitts.

The words are either knitted in with stranded knitting or you can do as I did and embroider them onto the mitts with duplicate stitch.

You can use the colors I did: Big Sister from YOTH in pink currant for the body of the mitts and Rhubarb for the lettering or choose colors you like.

Block mitts to an 8”/10.5cm circumference and 7”/18cm tall after light blocking. These mitts will fit a hand measurement of 8” at base of fingers knuckles without thumb.
The mitts are large enough to fit a large woman through a man’s hand. To get a smaller size, use sport weight and size US 4/3.5mm to get 6.5 or 7 sts per 1”.
