How about a lace shawl in a worsted weight yarn on size US 11/8mm, 32”/80cm circular needles in a big, workable size for wrapping easily?! Good idea, right?! This stunning shawl is quick and not too hard, with a color evoking a glorious western sunrise. This design would also look wonderful in a solid or in other colorways. It’s a good way to use up extra worsted weight!

The chosen yarn is ONE SKEIN ONLY of Noro’s colorful, organic “Ito” yarn. It’s a pleasure to work with - full of texture (because of Noro’s minimal wool processing ethic) and the colors!…they are fun, sometimes unexpected, always beautiful!

Western Sunrise is an easy lace design with short forming the crescent shaping at the top (don’t worry, full instructions are included and it’s not too hard!). You will need to know or learn how to knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, s2kpo, and yo. The directions for the big, easy-to-read chart are also written out for the chart haters among us.

This sublime shawl is excellent for gift giving, fast and fun!
