After seeing a machine knit sweater on a friend of mine, I became obsessed with this stitch pattern. This is the first of at least 4 planned patterns exploring this poufy, squishy, little stitch. Individual patterns for now, and an eBook when they are all finished!

My own immediate need was for fingerless gloves so I attacked this pattern first. (and just in time! it was 27F this morning!) Knit from the lovely Danu from A Hundred Ravens, this is just what I need for the morning school drop-off. With a long enough cuff that I’m not freezing even when I wear 3/4 sleeves under my jacket and hands just long enough to cover the steering wheel when I drive. The honeycomb pattern is puffy and allows for that much more retained heat.

The pattern is written in 3 sizes, but can easily be modified by adding or subtracting multiples of 4.
