Though an intermediate-level pattern, this blanket is also suitable for adventurous beginner knitters who have mastered the basics.

The Woven Blanket is knitted using a technique known as “entrelac.” The setup section will knit the base triangles. The following sections will knit rectangles slanting right and left. The final section ends with triangles. Though it looks woven, the blanket is made in one piece by picking up stitches – no holes!

This is a great project for learning or practicing “knitting backwards” or knitting left to right instead of purling.

Sample was knitted using HobbiI Mega Ball Aran in colorways Peacock (12), Ash (27), and Deep Emerald (05).

Pattern was reviewed in-house by Hobbii yarn and designed in partnership with Hobbii using gifted yarn.
