Yoga Pants
Nothing signals to Kate that she’s going to spend some time in her happy place as slipping on her favorite pair of yoga pants. She’s named her new hand knit sweater pattern after this beloved article of clothing in the hopes that it will bring you as much joy as wearing your comfy favorites.
This sweater can be worn with as much as 14 inches of positive ease; its fluid fabric and simple details keep it from looking unkempt. Style it with a quick tuck it into your waistband, and your cozy comfort can transition smoothly into a fashionable layering piece that is beyond reproach. The sleeves are left wide and cropped at a 3/4 length to work well over anything you’d like to layer underneath.
This pullover is worked flat and constructed much like her Beekeeper’s Smock. You’ll cast on at the front hem and work up and over the shoulders, then down to the back hem. The pattern calls for lofty woolen spun worsted weight yarns to be worked at a loose almost bulky gauge creating an airy fabric that will move with you so smoothly that you’ll hardly be aware of the sweater on your shoulders. What could be more comfortable?
