Yrisson
We hear the murmur of the water. Just one more turn and the waterfall reveals itself in all its glory. Water pours down the rock wall in a grandiose cascade. This is The Great Leap of the Hérisson torrent in the heart of the French Jura region. Hérisson means hedgehog in French, but the true origin of the name probably comes from “Yrisson”, which meant “sacred water”.
The Yrisson cowl is inspired by all things water: Waterfalls, ripples, drops, flow… Too many to name! The cowl combines lace patterns flowing into each other, and forming shapes reminiscent of cascading water, quiet pools and water droplets. Water is life. It’s high time to create your own ode to water and dress yourself with flair with the Yrisson cowl.
Wait no more and join the flow!
For best effect, use a round yarn with good stitch definition. Yarn weights ranging from fingering to DK would be suitable. As for colorways, I would recommend solid, semi-solid, speckled, or gradient (single skein or gradient set) yarns.
