The Rose Jam hat and matching mitts are toasty, worsted-weight winter warmers featuring an all-over pattern of rose petals. I love the heart-shaped petals of some old fashioned roses - they inspired a cable pattern of interlocking petals that is easy to knit without a cable needle. The name comes from rose petal jam, a sweet floral preserve that I think goes very well with scones and cream.

You will need only one skein of Malabrigo Rios for either the hat or the mitts, or two skeins for the set.
