This lace scarf is enhanced on both of the bottom edges with bead knitting. The beads add an elegance to an already attractive lace scarf. There are two methods of bead knitting contained within the pattern. If you’ve never knitted with beads, but would like to try it, I think this might a great first project. Should you decide you’d like to make the scarf without beads, that can be done as well.

The stitches are both charted and written out line by line.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, purling and lace knitting).

The sample was expertly test knitted by Jude who can be reached at uputat@yahoo.com, and was knitted using Mountain Colors Bearfoot yarn, in colorway, Copper Pennies.
