Easy Like Sunday Morning
These socks begin with a SC Blp ribbing worked in turned rows. The ribbing strip is slip stitched to form a tube, then stitches are worked into the row ends to begin ankle. Ankle is worked top-down in the round in stretchy, smooth ESC. Increases shape the gusset, and stitches are skipped to create a heel opening (heel is added later). Decreases are made, instep is worked, and decreases shape toe. Heel is worked after toe is finished, however, if desired length of sock is uncertain, heel can be worked before finishing toe to determine fit/length of sock.
Choose a size that measures about .751” smaller than foot circumference for best fit. Length of leg and foot is easily customizable-finished length of sock should measure about 1” shorter than foot length for best fit.
