This is a pattern for a turtleneck scarf. that’s made using a sport weight yarn. However, the turtleneck aspect of the scarf keeps you warm on even the coldest days. The intricate and unusual cable stitch is both charted and written out line by line. The textured stitch that surrounds the cable is also an unusual stitch. There is also instructions for an optional crocheted edging, should you want the scarf edged.

Should your prefer the more traditional scarf, just begin the knitting using either the chart or line by line…and just keep going.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cabling and textured stitches.)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in the colorway, Fjord.

The sample was expertly test knitted by Rachel McKinney who can be contacted at: 100creations @gmail.com.
