This asymmetrical triangle in two sizes (petite/tall) features highly embossed stitch patterns that pass from solid twist stitch to openwork as they undulate toward its deeply scalloped hem. Frothy side edgings complete the straight edges to provide bubbly light play around shawl body. The patterning shows off well in a heavy laceweight yarn with some shine to highlight the curving linear elements. While the stitch work is constantly moving and requires a bit of attention, the wrong side rows are worked entirely in knit and purl. The results are worth the effort and sure to attract notice, as the final fabric is rich with texture and movement, but light as air.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overal variation in size and drape.
