THE STORY BEHIND AEGYOKNIT
It was not in the cards that Karoline would find her self working as a fulltime knit pattern designer, when she got her masters degree in Comparative Literature from Syddansk University in 2021. But life wanted otherwise, and the urge to work with her creativity took over, as it had always been a part of her life through hobbies and interests.

Aegyoknit was created in march 2022 and the name ’ageyo’ (pronunciation: egg-yo) was meant to include some of the Korean culture to the brand, as Karoline is married to her South Korean man. The name symbolizes the feminine and playfullness that Karoline likes to add to her patterns.

THE AEGYO SIGNATURE
Her focus has always been on making modern knitting patterns, with the keywords: minimalistic, meticulous, and oversized silhouettes. All with interpretations from the scandinavian and korean fashion. You will also always find small stories in the patterns that Karoline likes to add, as the patterns are made with consideration and empathy.

THE PATTERNS
At Aegyoknit you will find knit patterns in all different stages of difficulty, some beginners friendly and some for the more adventurous and experienced knitters, which allows you to develop and try out new skills and techniques.
