Caroline Pearce

I have a BA (Hons) in Knitwear design from Nottingham Trent Uni (or Trent Polytechnic as it was then)
I worked in a knitwear factory designing and knitting samples for a year after graduating and then went to work for John Lewis - my last job there was in the Ladies Knitwear buying office. I did placements with Emu Wools and Artwork at college and was a finalist in the Courtelle awards and also the Woman magazine handknitting knitting award, Several of my factory designs were sold in Next and also Warehouse.
I am married to my lovely IT management hubbie and we have 4 kids - my smallest is 6 and I’m looking forward to having more time to design and get back to creative work!
My design ‘Ernest’ appeared in The Knitter magazine in 2011, and the second, The Renoir Cushion in June 2012.
