I started knitting in the fall of 2004 after wondering how my grandmother had made a poncho. I self-taught myself with books and the internet. Knitting not only gave me something to do in my post-college daze, but it provided me with a way to be productive while undertaking the quixotic task of finding employment in NYC. I regularly attend the lower Manhattan SNB, where I commiserate with like minded yarn addicts. I frequent The Point and Annie & Co. Knitting, both in Manhattan.
