Knitting has been a passion of mine for nearly all my life. I was taught how to knit by my mother and her friends when I started elementary school. After knitting a few scarves, I tried to make a sweater in high school and it turned out great. I have been hooked on knitting ever since!

I am also a co-owner of a software company, and with the emergence of the iPhone, we decided to create a handy knitting app that gives detailed reminders of what to do next as you complete each row. It is called JKnit and it works on the iPhone and iPod touch. I am happy the way it came out and it has quite a few advanced features. So please let me know if you come across it or have any questions - I would love to hear from other knitters!

Designing new patterns is a relatively new interest of mine. I find this creative process to be very exciting, and I have many interesting ideas. Going forward, I will be posting some of my patterns here on Ravelry and I hope you will like them and try to make them yourself.
