I live and work in Piraeus, Greece, with my husband, an English & Greek Language Teacher & Digital Editor and our teenage son, an avid crafter from an early age and a university student as of 2023
I was taught to knit and crochet at school, when I was 13 years old and creating my own “patterns” seemed only natural to me. Thanks to Ravelry, I have been able to write them down and share them with you, the wonderful knitters’ community.
I usually collaborate with indie-dyers and create original accessories and garments with their beautiful handspun/handdyed yarn. I am a firm believer in the power of working together to promote our crafts. I also invest my money and time, buying the yarns I like to create a new designs(although not so often as I would like to, as budget is always an issue these days).
Although I used to sell my patterns online, I recently decided to offer them for free. I know it may sound strange, but there actually are people who cannot afford to buy a well-written, tech-edited pattern, so maybe my designs are of interest to them. I certainly hope so!
