Bata De Cola

This simple lace scarf takes its name after the famous Bata De Cola, the well-known Flamenco Dancers Ruffled Skirt. Designing it started as a crochet-shawl exercise and ended up with the pleasure of this asymmetrical heart-shaped scarf or should I call it shawlette? Anyway, it reminds me of my love for Spain and everything Spanish, the hours I spent studying the flamenco and then dancing the flamenco, finally of my Spanish friend, Chany to whom I want to dedicate this design as a present for a year of Internet friendship that started via Ravelry!
