Sara Foster
I live and work in northeastern Wisconsin and am a proud Yooper by birth and heritage. (In other words, I was born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and my family has been there for a good six generations or so.) Aside from being a school psychologist and chairing a rural school district’s special education department, I love to knit and felt, ramble outside with my faithful canine companions, read, and experiment with various crafts.
The folks at Interweave Press have graciously included a pattern of mine in the newest Interweave Felt magazine (available September 9, 2008). It’s listed in the magazine as “Little Penny Pouches” and is on page 17. I’m trying really hard to be cool and grown up about it all, but the truth of the matter is that every time I think about it, I hyperventilate.
