This is a pattern for a short sleeved fitted top. It uses 4 colours; the pattern suggests 3 skeins 0075 Orange, 2 skeins 0028 Salmon, 2 skeins 0046 Purple and 1 skein 0094 Ecru.
It is worked in stripes using two strands of yarn at the same time, starting with 2 strands salmon, then 1 strand each salmon and orange, 2 strands orange, 1 strand each purple and orange and so on, creating stripes in solid colours and stripes with a mottled effect.
The pattern uses yarn overs and dropped stitches through which stitches are picked up and knit to create a ‘hole’ panel at the front and back.
