Worked in the round, this hat knits up in no time. Five twisted cables flow from the k2, p2 ribbed border to circle the main body. Shaped with decreases worked into the reverse stockinette-stitch background, the top is decorated with a jumbo 3 3⁄8” pompom.

TIP: Be sure to check your gauge—a fraction of a stitch can make a big difference when you’re working with chunky yarns.
