The tunic-length sweater is worked in the round, with the sleeves and lower body joining at the underarm. The lower edges are picked up and worked in finishing. Reserved underarm stitches are grafted when the sweater is complete. Small and special design details abound in this striking ensemble, like the flared cuffs of the gauntlet-style mittens and the curly coils in lieu of a pompom on the slouchy hat.
