Three allover lace designs combine in Drysdale’s deceptively simple sideways-knit poncho. Two simple four-row lace patterns at the sides and a center diamond lace panel are knit in one piece from side to side with a neck opening. Seaming is a cinch: Edges are tacked together with openings left for the armholes and side slits. A band of garter stitch surrounds a neckline open enough to show a hint of collarbone.
