Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Fall 2008: “Inspired by the vibrantly colored embroidered textiles of Central Asia called suzani, Nicholas has created the ultimate diva accessory. Her long-cuffed mittens worked in striking hues of ‘Julia’ from Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers - feature pointed edgings, embroidery detailing and pom-pom drawstrings.”

- Small/Medium (Medium/Large)
- Hand circumference 7 (8)“/17.5 (20.5)cm
Materials:
- 2 (3) 1¾oz/50g skeins (each approx 93yd/85m) of Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers, Inc. Julia (wool/kid mohair/alpaca) in #6085 geranium (MC)
- 1 skein each in #3961 lady’s mantle (A), #118 espresso (B) and #4936 blue thyme (C)
- One pair size 7 (4.5mm) needles or size to obtain gauge
- One set (4) size 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpn) and stitch markers
