This statement piece, worked in Classic Elite Yarns’ alpaca and bamboo Chateau and Palace, is just as striking over jeans and a T-shirt as it is belted over a slim dress. The body—a compilation of extravagantly sized motifs—is worked in one piece to the armholes, then divided for the fronts; each side is worked separately. The softer shades of the background change every few rows; the stronger pattern colors switch about every ten rows. K2, p2 ribbed borders are picked up at the end. Short rows are used to shape the ribbed collar.

Colorways used with Palace are #5557 powder (icy blue- A), #5546 glacial ice (pale blue- B), #5531 periwinkle (violet- C), #5567 mermaid (pale turquoise- D).

Colorways used with Chateau are #1409 electric turquoise (bright blue- E), #1449 denim (F), #1446 spruce (green/ blue- G).
